I saw Silent Hill, I like the RE movies much more. It bored me some SH did, Id say 7/10.
Saw Little Miss Sunshine last night, and although it was funny, it wasn't "the funniest movie of the summer" or "the must see movie of the summer" like it was advertised. My boyfriend had a hard time getting into it at first too. The older crowd in the audience seemed to love it though. The talent competition at the end of the movie is hilarious though. I'd give it 7.5 or 8/10
Also saw Jackie Browne for the first time, and enjoyed it, but I basically like any Tarantino.

V for Vendetta--Interesting movie. It's not without flaws, but certainly one worth thinking about...
I will second that movie.. it's a great movie, and has a very deep political view.. loved it..

"The Sentinal" with Michael Douglas as a secret service agent being framed as a traitor . He is on the run from Keifer Sutherland and Eva Longoria the secret service agents on the case. Definately worth a rent .
Benchwarmers- 2/10, it was horrible! I love stupid/funny movies (Napoleon Dynamite, Harold and Kumar, for example) but this movie was made for preteen boys!
The 1974 original version of The Wicker Man starring Christopher Lee is a good film; it's not great, but it is original and it does bring to light some interesting aspects of pagan belief. Unfortunately,the current remake is an abomination--as are most remakes. Why degrade a classic film by producing a mediocre remake???? My guess is $$$$. Probably the worst example of remaking a classic film is when someone had the bright idea to remake the Hitchcock classic Psycho. There's no replacing an original of that caliber...
